Meredith Carr is a multi-faceted marketing professional and copywriter with a career that spans healthcare, nonprofit, entertainment and publishing. She has held senior corporate marketing positions, founded two creative services agencies and managed strategic projects for a variety of clients.
Meredith’s writing, editing and publication experience encompasses a full array of communications vehicles including ad campaigns, marketing and sales collateral, journal articles, annual reports, award-winning websites, brand identity guidelines and press releases. She has worked with media outlets, led strategic planning efforts and managed marketing research projects.
Meredith served as adjunct faculty at Belmont University in Nashville and UCLA Extension – teaching courses in advertising and content marketing to college seniors and working adults. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Massey School of Business at Belmont University and a Bachelor of Arts from Middle Tennessee State University.
In addition to her professional activities, Meredith has always made it a priority to impact the world for good. She has served on several nonprofit boards and mentors an inner city single mother whose family is an important part of her life. In her spare time, Meredith enjoys reading, hiking and any kind of roots music. She and her husband, Vince Melamed – a musician, songwriter and voice artist – live in Los Angeles.
